A Planar Motor System is composed of movable XBots (movers), a stationary surface of modular Flyways (stators) and a PMC (controller). Each XBot is independently controlled and magnetically levitated with 6 degrees-of-freedom.

We offer two series of products: 3-Series and 4-Series products are intended to serve different markets, and are both active parts.

  • The 3-Series offers better repeatability and a smaller footprint, and is excellent for demanding is suitable for applications requiring a tight machine footprint or tight mover groupingand higher XBot density .

  • The 4-Series is intended for higher payload applications, and is the better choice when carrying large parts across long distances.
