Intended Use

The components of the motion system are intended for use in automated manufacturing and other processes.

Improper Use

The components of the Planar Motor systems are explicitly not permitted for use in nuclear power plants to monitor nuclear reactions or for use in flight control systems, air traffic control, the control of mass transportation systems, the transport of people, for medical life support systems and for weapons systems. Any use exceeding the permissible values specified in the Technical Details is not advised. The following reasonably foreseeable misuse must be avoided:

• Loading above the maximum permissible payload

• Exceeding the maximum permissible speed

• Transport of hazardous fluids (fluids in group 1) per the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU

• Transport of flammable and reactive fluids/substances

• Processing of ferromagnetic materials/chips
