Fieldbus Snapshot Capture

The fieldbus snapshot feature allows the user to capture all commands sent by the PLC to the PMC, for up to 30 minutes. This will allow us to reproduce the situation exactly as it is experienced by the user.

This feature is available as from PMC 2022.10v6.11.0 (11676-20548)

 

To capture a fieldbus snapshot, please follow these procedures:

  1. Please make sure the XBots are Inactive or Idle

  2. Turn on the fieldbus snapshot from the diagnostics panel

  3. Start the PLC program

  4. After the error shows up, use the same diagnostics panel to turn off the fieldbus snapshot. the maximum snapshot duration is 30 minutes

  5. In the Diagnosis Tools menu, choose Get System Snapshots

  6. Make sure the "Fieldbus Snapshot" checkbox is selected, then click Download Files

  7. Send the downloaded diagnosis file to us
