Command Label

When sending a motion command, the host application may send any 2 bytes in the Command Label field identifying that instance of a motion command. The PMC will associate that command label with that motion command instance.

The PMC keeps track of the command labels for the commands of an XBot. The command label of the current executing motion command of an XBot can be queried by using the Get XBot Status command. The command label(s) for select future commands to be run by the XBot can be queried by using the Query option in the Motion Buffer Control.

The command label does NOT have to be unique. Therefore, the command label reply from the PMC is not guaranteed to be unique.
